Our country seems to be going the way of Rome! We lionize people such as pro athletes, movie stars, music stars,
etc that do nothing to improve the country. They are paid enormous sums of money while our teachers, law
enforcement officers, fire fighters, etc are paid a pittance that depends on tax payers good will. ( Of course, at the
moment, I am not impressed with our teachers and schools!)
The politicians in our country have openly shown themselves to be the liars and bullies and harlots that we have
long suspected them to be but at least, up until recently, they had the good sense to hide their true natures. I have
heard for so long that we are in Iraq for the oil. Well, illegal aliens are in our country because of oil!!
Mexico is our third largest supplier of oil, so do not tell me that illegals are here to keep prices on goods and
services down for U.S. citizens! Most of our goods are made overseas or in Central America and there are
American citizens that would work the jobs illegals work but employers would have to pay minimum wages and
possibly health insurance. There goes the employers bottom line and shareholder value!
Next, we hear how impossible it would be to deport all of these illegals. If we punish, and I do mean punish! those
employers that hire these illegals ( hit them in the pocket...that's what it will take) and don't give them any place to
work, they just might go to uber liberal Canada. (That'll fix their socialized medicine policy!) If everytime an
illegal was released from prison he/she was sent back to Mexico, we could get rid of a lot of them. This is without
La Migra even actively working at deporting i.a.s. They could deport even more of them.
If we quit letting Mexico tell us how to treat their citizens, we could crack down on illegals. If Mexico cared so much
about their citizens, they wouldn't need to come over the border in droves.
If everytime a liberal judge decides in favor of illegals "rights" instead of the rights of American citizens, the illegals
would be allowed to live in that judge's home and neighborhood (especially that one in five sexual predator
coming across the border, you can bet there would be less illegals.
I cannot go back to the amnesty of the eighties but you can bet that anytime there is any talk of an amnesty, the
word goes out and here they come. They come here with the blessing of Mexico because somewhere along the
line Mexico adopted the policy one of my sisters has always followed, namely, what's mine is mine and what's
yours is mine.
We have movie stars and Geraldo "the spitter" Rivera telling us how we must feel about illegal aliens. We have
politicians all but standing on street corners in short skirts and tops cut down to their navels with their hands out.
We have liberal judges reinterpreting our laws. We have doofus mayors and city councils declaring their cities
to be sanctuary cities.
Our children and grandchildren are going to inherit this mess. One of these days San Francisco, Newark,
Houston, etc will find Mexican ( not Spanish ) to be the official language of their city and they'll wonder why the
ACLU isn't threatening to sue the city like they do when a city declares English to be the official language of that
city.
I never thought I would actually say this, but perhaps we DO need a nation ID Card.
